6 Month Old

*This is a late post. Suppose to be posted last week but was down with a horrible flu.

Our dear boy turned 6 months 2 weeks ago. We gave him his first porridge, (of cos it was cooked by popo and it was popo who gave him his 1st porridge) and his first taste of fish! He din really like the porridge cos it was quite tasteless and popo prepared it way too dry to Jaden's liking but he love the fish that he stole a bite from, our dinner. Haha! Was asking for more!

There aint much to blog abt since i din see him for the whole of last week due to the stupod flu i caught from weiming. We went Taka Baby Fair 2 weekends ago with his nai nai to buy him yet, another baby cot. So for now, Jaden has got 4 baby cot in all.. Gosh... Bot a Leapfrog Leapad too. But i forgot to let him play. Blur me..

Yday when i went home, Dad was telling me that when he was holding on to jaden, with jaden facing him, this notti boy suddenly juz grab his gonggong's t-shirt collar, pull it and bend his head into the hole to check out wat's inside to t-shirt (which was gonggong's body of cos..). He found nothing interesting, came out and finally decided to let go of dad's tee. Haha.. curious little baby..

Haiz, Im starting to worry abt his hand ops nowadayw.. cant help not thinking abt it as the date draws nearer. It will pain me to see him go thru such painful procedures at such young age...

Cranky Weekend

We did many things over last weekend and during national day, so I tot we shld juz stay home this weekend. Jaden was ultra cranky yday, very very whiny. I think it could be due to the warm weather, Luckily, i seek refuge at mummy's plc so at least i had her to help me. After being a mummy myself, i finally truely understand how wonderful my mother is and i finally learned to appreciate all her efforts and understand how tough it was for her to bring all 3 of us up last time. No wonder she was always on the cane,ready to discipline us. It really really tough... With only Jaden now, he is already a handful and is almost driving me nut!
Anyway, back to yday, we were at my mum's plc till late cos WM had a wedding dinner to attend. Jaden was cranky the whole nite and i think i was the culprit cos i din mixed his rice ceral well.. *Opss* So i think he suffered from indigestion. Mum said it could be due to the barley water he took too.. (preparing for his jab again..I hate these jabs...) WM came to pick us only aft midnight and Jaden only manage to fall asleep in the car.. He slept till 4am b4 he wake up for his feed.
This morning, we were waken up by his voice. He was lying on our bed, playing to his toys. My sweet little boy, that's wat i love abt him. He seldom wake up screaming at the top of his voice. Most of the time, he wakes up giving me a silly contented big smile and I'll juz melt seeing tat smile of his...
We brought him to visit his pair of twins cousin. When we were there, Lydia (the younger twin) was crying and Jaden was quite shock and simply staring at her. Well, I forgot to take a pic of them together. Blur mummy. but anyway, he gradually warmed up and starting 'talking' to them. I think they are not so used to strangers around and soon aft, they started wailing again. We went back home after Jaden started to get cranky again. I really think its due to the weather. his little top soak in his pespiration.. He wanted to nap but it was too warm and started wailing too... Only manage to cool down after we switched on the air-con.

The weekend juz flew past like that... I wanna be a SAHM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im home today cos there's some family matters to settle, mummy is unable to look after Jaden today. All i wan to say is, he is quite a handful to handle and................ He's poo poo STINK!!!!
p/s: He love baby einstein. At least i've found something to keep him occupied.

Outing With SMH Mummies

I dunno how long its gonna take me to finish this post cos while im typing this entry, my dear boy is quite cranky behind.Yesterday was National Day. Mummies from SMH forum had been planning for a meet up weeks ago on this day. This time round, it was a huge group wif more than 25 mummies (this excludes babies, daddies, grannies and grandpas!). I brought my parents along too but i think dad was quite bored though. They only thing he enjoyed was his dear grandson's company. Hah! Well, some of u must be wondering,"Where's Jaden's Papa?" As usual, he juz simply cant be bothered wif such activities and insisted on staying at home to finish his work. Well, suit him cos i think he'll also be bored if he came along. Im quite glad that Jaden was quite sociable with the rest of the babies. Anyway, he spent most of his time wif his gong gong & po po cos it was quite warm for him outdoorand so we decided to move indoors.Some of the pics taken yesterday..

Mummy's Post : I Need Motivation At Work!!

Ever since the news of delay in my coversion to permanent position and the shitty arrangement of having to do the job of 2 person from now on, I've got no motivation to work anymore. I feel cheated, conned, taken for granted and not appreciated. And, it doesn;t gif me any sense of satisfaction!!
When my boss offered me a permanent position 2 months ago, he told me that i will be moving on to do new thing, quite different from what i am currently doing, and they will be hiring someone to take over my position. I was glad cos theres quite abit of irritating customer to handle at my current position now. But last week, he told me that they no longer will be getting any replacement. Instead, on top of doing the roles, i have to carry on with what i am handling now. WTF??!! Furthermore, they have not converted me as promised and i am already doing the new roles. (so effectively, they shld be paying me more cos i was promised a pay rise when i take up this new role!) ARGGGHH!!!
But like i was telling Jiarong this afternoon during tea, I dun have much of a choice now cos Jaden is scheduled for ops end of this year and if i change a job now, i dun think i can take leave to stay home and look after him. So... Im stuck and im pissed. I feel so HELPLESS!!

Aiyo, Such a VAIN smile!!

I realise something about Jaden today. He is not interested in caucasian babies. Today, mum and i brought Jaden for his free class at Gymboree. He got very excited as soon as we were there. I think he really enjoy his last play session there. There was a group of elder babies ther attending the stage 2 class. Jaden got excited when he saw those babies and tried to communicate wig them. There was this very very cute caucasian boy too but Jaden juz simply ignore him. He crawled over to Jaden, and sat in front of him. Usually, Jaden will get friendly with his friends. But this time round, he simply stared at this boy and den turned away and look for other toys. He muz be thinking "You are cuter than me. Im not gonna be your friend." Haha!
We went shopping at vivocity later and as usual, he got a new toy caterpillar and some music cds. He doze of 3 times during that 5 hours when we were there. Oh and did i mention b4 that he luurrrves bread alot?? We went to cold storage and when i was at the bread section he was so excited,he wanted to grab those bags of bread and was actually salivating!!! Greedy Boy! So in the end, we went to grad a piece of bread at a bakery b4 we head home. The boy who loves bread is now in his dreamland....

Playing With Saliva

Yesterday, I went home and found Jaden doing something disgusting. I was talking to mum in the kitchen when i heard dad scolding jaden. So i went to chack out wat my little rascal was doing. He was sitting on dad's lap, facing him, playing with his saliva. Okay, i noe it is very common for babies to be playing with their saliva. But, Jaden was doing in in a very disgusting manner. Instead of his usual "bubble blowing", he was trying to "splatter" his saliva all over his own lips and mouth. I dunno how to describe properly, he was pressing his lips tight together and then try to 'blow' bubble which will den cause saliva to splatter all over. I wonder where he learned this trick from but it was really darn disgusting and i was disgusted.

First Post

Finally,its up. This is my very first own blog entry after almost 1 year of procrastination. I've always wanted to have this blog, where i can pen down little little details when i feel like doing so. Also, the main purpose for this, is to record down the growing up of my little boy, Jaden. I wanted to do this the very moment i know i was preggy. Now.... Jaden is already 5months old!
So from now, I shall try my best to update this plc as often as i can.
