Car Fanatic

WM's fren, JC, wanted to go for car viewing and Audi and he asked us along. We went to the Maserati showroom to meet him. Upon reaching there........

I think its in the DNA like what JC said. Jaden went crazy over the car stering and refuse to leave. We had to drag in out of the car. We had coffee at the hotel lobby next door befor proceeding to the Audi showroom. It was cars again and so, J enjoyed it. In fact, he was sticking to the guys cos they tried sitting in the car and so, he wanted to join them. Its a GUY thing...

26th July 2007: Patschool House Trial

I've got a msg from pinkpink (mar07 mummy) last week asking me if i wanna let J try out the trial. Very nice of her to still remember me cos I haven been chatting with them for a long time... So we attended the trial together on saturday. The teacher started off with a welcome song and then she did a story telling session. J wasn;t really interested abt sometime and he wandered off to the back of the class. Oh, his friend, Tiffany, was so cute. she went around "sayang" the kids and kept touching J's cheek. Suddenly, J decided to give her a really tight hug!! and so they were embraced in a big big hug!! We were all laughing at them and then they gave each other a 2nd hug. I thing they lost their balance and they both topple on the floor. It was so funny and it happened too fast, none of us mange to snap a pic of them, hugging together.

They did Art & Craft, went to the outdoor playgroud and the clss ended after a sing and play session.

I think J enjoyed the class pretty much but according to the mummies, its actually not as good as JG or GUG. They have decided to take up GUG instead and so I joined them and enrolled J for the GUG classes too.

24th July 2008: Sis Convocation

Finally after 4 yeasr, Sis is freed from travelling more than 4 hours everyday to and fro school and most importantly, no more exams. I noe how much she hate exams cos I hate it too!

We attended her convo but I did not go into the auditorium as they do not allow children below the age of 6 to enter so I went for breakfast at macdonalds with J and Daniel. After that, we went for dim sum and Bosses Restaurant befor heading home. Really tiring cos the previous nite, I attended an event within WM and headed for Zouk after that. Only slept for 5 hours that night...

20th July 2007: Sunday Breakfast at Swissbake

Sis had been telling me about the Sunday breakfast at Swissbake for months and so we decided to check it out last Sunday, before she officially start work. The spread was pretty good, all bread and pastries and so, we were so full aft that, we did not even take our lunch.


J spoiled my phone again. He's 17 months and in these 17months, I had visited Nokia Care for like, 4 times? He dropped my phone on the floor and the screen juz blackout. Since Swissbake was at parkway where there's also a Nokiacare, I sent my phone for repair. Suprisingly, my phone was ready whitin 20mins! When I collected my phone, I was told that they change the screen and also the cover for me. I guess they couldn't stand how old and tattered my phone look and I suspect they juz change the whole phone for me haha. Now I have a "brand new" phone. J did a good job, i must say.

Days at Home With Jaden

Its been 2 week I've been staying home with J. We went for morning walk at Pasir Ris, window shopping, dining out and staying home playing some games. We had breakfast at Mac on days when we couldn't wake up for morning walk. I make it a point to drop by the supermarket after breakfast at Mac cos I think its a learning opportunity for J. I will introduced the common fruits and vegetables to him there and also at the same time, let him feel the textures of them.

Yesterday, I gave him a pail filled with a bit of water since he refuse to leave me alone. Water is the only thing he could play for a long time. I had some peace packing the room while he was playing. Just as i was checking to see how he was doing, I saw him curiously picking up the pail, bringing it up, higher n higher, and den.... *SPLASH*~~ He brought the pail up above his head, overturn it and the pail of cold water splash right into his face. He was really shocked, he din react and simply stared into the pailed. But it was so hilarious, I was laughing non-stop till I had a tummy ache. Seeing me laugh so badly, he started laughing at his own silly doing.

J had recently picked up this weird habit of going to the flush toilet, bend over and pretend to cough and spit into it. I dunno where he learnt this from, I almost fainted when he did it for the first time. They really learn things so fast, we really gotta watch our actions carefully.

There's this irritating mosquito in my bedroom. Maybe its mosquitoES instead. J has got like 5-6bites so far that they are always big, swoillen and very hard after that. It's been a week and I still cant find these irritating mossies!

Last saturday, we went for morning walk at east coast beach. J loves looking at the sea and he stood watching the sea for like almost 20mins before started roaming around. He strolled by himself for quite sometime until he saw a golden retriever passing by, he started to fuss and wanted me to carry him. Jac n david came shortly after we were done with our walk and we had breakfast at mac b4 heading to tampines for coffee. YiHao was there too and as usual, J was happily playing with him but he was so so rough, he 'poked' YH's eyes twice. Could see that J really loved him cos I saw him attempting to rest his head on YH.. Tat's how he usually shows his love for something. Like how he always reast his head on us when we ask him to sayang us, resting his head on his favorite Elmo, etc..
