One year flew by. Going by the chinese calendar, "ma2ma3" left us on this day, exactly one year ago. I will never forget the fact that she left peacefully, exactly one week after my wedding. I should be glad that she actually hung on there, awaited to see me get married, before she leaves. My 2 greatest regret are, not visiting her more at the hospital when she was still around and, not being able to be at her wake.
"Treasure what you have, before it is too late" I am always aware of this fact, but i did not treasure...

Its my birthday. Not really interested in a rowdy kinda celebration so we stayed at home the previous nite with Jaden and had some drinks at home although its a friday nite.
Jaden woke up slightly after 8.30am this morning, already playing by himself when i opened my eyes. We played inbed for awhile before i went of to prepare water for his bathe. He stayed awake for the next few hours although he was already very tired. I tried to pat him to sleep, but he still wanna play. Decided to give him his porridge since he refuse to nap and we are meeting my 2 dearest friend in the afternoon for lunch. Jaden was obviously very tired cos as i was scooping his porridge, he was there, busy yawning away. He was extremely obedient when i fed him. Usually he will be "wriggling" around in his chair.Well, i soon realise why he was so well behaved. Halfway thru feeding, i puase for less than a half a minute to mash his caroots b4 i fedd him. When im done and turned to feed him, this silly boy had already fallen asleep in his chair. It was so funny! I woke him up to finish up his porridge since there was only a tiny bit left and den moved him to his mat to sleep....
We went out at abt 2+pm, returning only at abt 8pm. He took 2 naps while we were out. However, that was not the end of the day. We went over to Q-bistro later and stayed there till slightly past midnight. And yes, Jaden went along with us. I think he enjoyed himself much more than me that day.

We stayed at home and sent him back to my parent's plc cos we had a wedding dinner to attedn Furthermore, Qingyun was already at my parent's plc waiting for Jaden to return so she can play with him. It has been more than 4 months since she last saw him.

To my dearest Jaden,
You turn 7 months old on this day. Time flies. Mummy still remember the day when u first arrived to this world, it was such a joy to cuddle you in my arms even you were crying away. You are the fruit of our love.
Now, you have already mastered the skill of flipping, pulling mummy's hair,pushing urself up on all 4s and the most amazing thing you did was to learned to sit yourself up when you were only 6.5mths old. Im so proud of you.
I hope you will grow healthy and strong and will always be that happy smiley baby that you have been. I love you baby.

I visited Dr Wong today for some routine check up. Jaden was happily enjoying himself with the nurses while we waited for almost 2 hours. When Dr Wong saw Jaden, she was very surprise to see that Jaden was so so chubby and she was admiring his thunder thighs. Well, Jaden was born much much small than other babies.
When Jaden saw Dr Wong, He actually reached out his hands and ask her to carry him. Its amazing! Yes, Jaden has always been a friendly boy, but not to the extend of asking "strangers" to carry him. He only saw Dr Wong twice b4. Once on the day that Dr Wong delivered him, and another time when he was a month old. (He's seen my friends much more than Dr wong but yet when they come and met us on saturday, he wasn't familiar with them at all)When Dr Wong carried him over, he actually immediately lie his head on her shoulder, so "sai nai". My mum was telling Dr Wong, saying that Jaden could remember her smell cos she was the first one to carry Jaden when he was born.. It was so heart warming.

Took a day leave last Friday to spend some time with Jaden. I mentioned that he's learning how to sit up himself and that he is starting to crawl backward already. Well, 2 accidents happened on that day and it was all my fault.
The first one was in the morning. I left him on my bed and went to check my email. Suddenly, i heard a loud "thud". In my mind, i was like "Shit, That's it!". As i had expected, i saw Jaden on the floor! He started wailing away. The only consolation was, i left the bumper mat on the floor so it reduced the impact of his fall.
Later in the afternoon, I wanted to prepare my HUGE diaper bag and get change cos we are going out shopping with my parents. Jaden refuse to leave me so i decided to switch on his favorite "Baby Einstein" dvd so i can have some time to prepare. Learning from my lesson in the morning, i left him on the playmat instead of the bed and went to grab the dvd controller. the next few seconds, i heard a "thud" AGAIN! This time round, when he was trying to sit up, he had problem balancing himself and fell back, ended up knocking his head on the coffee table edge!! It was much harder than the first time and he creid till his eyes were puffy.. *Sorry baby, Mummy is so careless. I promise to be much much more careful from now on!!* I cant believe i actually let him knock himself on the heard in less than 12 hours! How careless can i be??!!
We went Suntec for dinner and some shopping. Popo bought him 3 books and he really enjoyed them! Was busy staring at the pictures on the book while we did some peaceful shopping.
I hope he will continue to love reading when he grow up.
Anyway, something i found interesting and tried myself too.

Learning to Sit
Today, Jaden gave gong gong and po po a BIG surprise. I was told, that he has learnt how to sit up from his lying down position. My mum said she left him lying in his cot while she went to do some work. When she went back to check on him cos he was protesting being left alone, she saw him half sitted, playing with his milk bottle! Although not fully & properly sitted cos he still can balance himself well, it is definately a huge milestone! Im so proud of him!! (And i witness it myself too just now. Daddy was super proud of his Jaden)

Jaden & Daddy
Everyday after work, I basically rush home to play and bond with Jaden. I'll usually reach home at about 6.45pm, and play with him for the next 15mins before i have my dinner. After dinner, he will be having his wipe down session before i continue to play with him. We'll leave my mum's place at about 8.30-9pm and he will usually still be wide awake or have already woke up from his 20mins evening nap.
Yesterday, things was slightly different. I reach home as usual and played with him. Weiming was quite early yesterday so by the time he finished dinner, it was only about 7.30pm. Well as usual, he will be stuck with TV for the rest of the time, spending only at most 20mins playing with Jaden and he will ask me to take over. I decided to get him to keep Jaden company after my mum changed Jaden since he had been watching TV for quite sometime. He played with him for awhile, before deciding to let Jaden settle on his lap and watch TV together. Not long after, maybe abt 10mins later, I heard Weiming softly calling out for me. I was thinking, "Y speak so softly??" Guess what?? My dear boy fell asleep in Daddy's arms. It was such a heart-warming sight and we were all laughing at it.. Weiming said he was watching TV halfway when he felt Jaden's head "dropping". Den he realise his little precious had fallen asleep. That shows how much attention he give his son when watching TV! Haha.. Anyway, we put him in his cot and left shortly after.
This morning, Weiming told me he had a weird funny dream. He dreamt that Jaden grew up, became a successful businessman, and owned a huge building in town and his business was dealing with babies stuff. Crazy Daddy! I think i've been talking abt doing a small biz on babies things too much that he had such a dream.
