Talkative Wormy

I think my memory is failing on me. As im typing, Im trying real hard to recall what we did over the past few days!! I cant even remember where i stop.

Even since Ive stop working, our usual routine at home is wo wake up, at about 8am, den i will laze in bed till he starts to get impatient with this lazy mummy. I'll den bath him at about 8.45am. Y 8.45am? Cos by the time we are done, its almost 9am and that is when sesame street starts showing at 9 am for the next 30 mins. I noe its no good to watch TV, but thats the only distraction i could find that makes him lay on his mat without moving ard so that i can apply his diaper cream, snow hazeline and Re Yi oil for him. Else he'll be fidgeting non stop. So, sesame street is his daily weekday must see and he gets all excited and concentrating very very well. This 30 mins is very precious cos i need to feed him his breakfast at the same time. So since then, he started falling in love with Elmo, Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert and i forgot whats the name of the other blue puppet.
Last Thursday, we brought him to takashimaya to watch Sesame Street show. His first reaction was a really shocked face. I think he was shock to see such a HUGE Elmo appearing right before his eyes. Soon, he was totally in the show and had his eyes fixed on the stage for the next 20 mins. My mum even suggested bringing him there again the next day. I rolled my eyes haha.

Den it was yesterday. We've decided to stay home since we've been out every single Sunday for the past, i lost count how many sundays. But decided to go for dinner at roxy. Initially, papa was scared that his wormy will be screaming and shouting throughout the dinner if we were to bring him there cos that's wat he usually does. To our surprise, he was pretty well behaved. He was playing by himself most of the time. Papa was so proud of him.


He's been trying to baby talk the past few days. Its juz so funny, and we realised how talkative he can get. He juz blabber away the whole day. Manage to take a video of him talking this morning. Its not easy cos everytime he sees my camera, he stop cos he is curious about wat i am holding to. Its abit dark. Hmm...

I caught this yesterday at home. I dunno wat is so funny though. Notice how fast my wormy mood can change??

Im leaving for Shanghai early morning on wednesday and will only be back on Sunday. Already missing Wormy. Gosh. Regretted planning for this treip. Will bring wormy along wherever i go next time. Its cold there now and I have yet packed my luggages. Must do it tonight.

Jaden n Us

Gong Gong & PoPo went Malacca with relatives so Nobody helping us with Jaden. Weiming needs a haicut badly and so do i. So we decided to bring Jaden along with us for our haircut. I was quite qorried initially cos Jaden had be very sticky to me ever since i've stop working. I was worried that he will refuse to sit with papa while i had my haircut. Well well, I guess i juz worry for nothing. He warmed up with Franky real fast and while i was washing my hair, He was playing happily with Franky. He actually wanted franky to carry him when he was cutting my hair Haha! Played too much, he dozed off before i was done and i took the chance to shop ard far east while i left him with weiming at the salon as it was then his turn to cut.

Went for late lunch at my favourite place, Imperial Treasures Nan Bei Restaurant. The food there is very good. They have nice baby high chair too. Its Winnie the Pooh hi chair instead of the usual ugly looking, plasticky ones u get in restaurant.

I realised, papa hasn't taken any proper photo with his precious son yet. So i decided to take a photo of them. Here's my 2 boys at home. Haha.



We went to plaza singapura last saturday to buy chocolate for sis's christmas bake sale. I've been to Carrefour many many times, but last sat ws the first time i realise that they have a special trolly for customers with baby. Out of vuriosity, we decided to use that and place Jaden inside.

He looks happy in the trolley right?? But, it lasted only 5mins and he started screaming away. Its more for younger babies who has yet master the skill of sitting. For babies like Jaden who has been sitting for the past few months, they cant lie still for more than 5mins cos the viuew they see is limited haha.

So, That was the activites we had for the past month. Will try to update it more regularly. Its very very tiring to update all at one go. My god..

Past 1 Month

When i saw the date of my last post, I realise how horribly lazy I've been. Its been more than a month since i last posted. Procrastination. Everyday, I just tell myself "Im too tired, I'll post tml instead since there's no difference posting today and tml". Haha, so there is a big difference of 1 month now! Let me recall wat we did the past one month.

1st-11th November

We went Vivo for dim sum and to spend away my Zara vouchers as they were expiring soon. Erm, Dim Sum was a last min decision cos i was starving and when we were there, I saw this huge "50% off dim sum" signage outside this chinese restaurant called "Boss". Since im a sucker for Dim sum, we decided to dine there. Its a very nice, and the food is fantastic. I'll definately be back for more. They dun serve the usual boring peanuts as appetiser. Appetiser was some cucumber, carrot and popiah skin sticks. Something nice and lite. Jaden had most of the cucumber and carrots while we ate the crunchy skins.

We pass by this Thomas and friend thingy. He was playing happily in it. Check out the price to sit on this now!! During my time, it was only 20 cents. Now, its actually $1 wor!!

Kidzloft was having a 50% storewide sale so we decided to check it out. There were many many great buys. It was really a 50% storewide and the toys were so interesting. It was so cheap, we bot lotsa stuff there. Toys, bedsheet, pillowcase, beddings, pyjamas, stroller pad, musical mobile, diaper holders, swimsuits, and lots more that i cant remember. We spent a bomb there. Went there 3 times and all in all, we spent more than $500!! Imagine if there werent any sales, my loot would have cost more than $1k!

We saw the bumbo seat there, and gong gong decided to let jaden try the seat. I had been wanting to buy this since Jaden was 4mths old, but my parents kept nagging, saying that its not necessary. But when they let jaden try it that day, they fell in love it it too! Dad happily asked me to buy, thinking that it cost only $20+. When i told him the price, he was shocked and so we decided not to buy. However, we started regretted to buying again. A few weeks later, we decided to grab it la. Anyway there were not 50% discount for Bumbo during the sale too. Finally got his Bumbo seat. I let him sit in it this morning and watch sesame st. He sat in his Bumbo, watched sesame st, and was happily swinging his legs while he watched. So cute. And it was goods for me too cos i could at least washed his bottles, clean up the room while he sat there.

I was trying out the shades at Zara, and i decided to tease Jaden with the shades on. He found it funny to see such a huge shade on mummy's face. Haha!

I let him tried the shades too. He was so happy. My vain boy.

My Graduation 10th November 2007

4 years ago, I made a decision to take up my part time degree course. The course lasted 3 years, from Jun 2003 to Jul 2006. It wasn't easy to be working and studying at the same time. It took alot of discipline. And me, of cos i did not have the discipline and i missed lotsa class. Looking back, i kinda regretted. Shld have put in more effort and get better results but anyway, I've finally gotten my Degree, graduating with a 2nd class 2nd division Honours degree from the University of Bradford. It was a long wait cos the congregation was heald only 1yrs and 4mths after i completed my course. Some photos to share..

2nd Week of November

Too much play and activities the previous 2 weeks, time to stay at home. Papa still brought Jaden out on Sunday but no pics were taken. Mostly picstures at home.

Kids really hate walkers. That was wat my mom tolds me. Its the same for Jaden. Everytime we try to plc him in his walker, He''l curl his legs up to stop us from putting him in. If i pull his legs open to slot him in, he'll scream. Look at how irritated he looks in his walker.

He refuse to nap tat day, kept climbing up in his yao lan.

Snowy is Jaden's favorite dogs. He's the only dog that can really get close to him for long. Jaden doesn;t mind Snowing licking him all over his face and his ears, his hands and his body. The only part he hats, are his legs. However, if sasha were to lick him on his face, he'll start screaming and cry. After his dinner on a saturday, he was playing with snowy. "Snowy, u wan my porridge uh?"

These days, he is crawling faster n faster. This min, he maybe at one end of the room. The next min, he's crawled out of ur sight. So i really have to be chasing after him every seconds.He crawl and crawled all the way to the kitchen, saw the stool and start playing hide n seek with popo using the stool.

We went for breakfast with his Yee Yee and uncle Daniel on Sunday morning at Cafe Cartel. Wanted to go there long ago. Finally made it there. Jaden had their bread for breakfast. He loves bread. Tell him the word bread, he gets very excited and will start jumping.

19th November 2007

Oliver's mama is not workign today so she arranged for a Gymboree session. Jaden was cranky that day, i dunno y. So he din really enjoyed much except for the singing and bubble time. Oliver's chinese name is also Zhi Kai, same as Jaden. We've planned long ago for these 2 boys to meet.

Journey as a SAHM Begins Here...

FINALLY!!

Yes, Im now officially a Stay-At-Home-Mummy(SAHM). It wasn't that easy as i had alot of entension of my last day at work due as they were unable to find a replacement. Im glad this day has come.

Day 1:
First day being SAHM. Have signed up for Yoga class at the Community Centre nearby hoping to tone up my flabby body. Probably its a weekday morning class, my fellor yoga mates are all housewives, abv 40yrs old. Anyway, im there to work out, so, who cares. My parent came to pick Jaden up b4 i left for my class. Ended at noon, i was wondering what to do in the aftnn since Jaden is at my parents place. First day only, and im wondering how to kill time??!! Went home and pack my room (which was at the top of my To-Do list la) The problem with a big bedroom is, we end up dumping everything and anything in the room and they sits there till a thick layer of dust sits on top and we never ever start using it. Only manage to clear 10% of the room and i gave up. Went hoe to pick Jaden up.

Day 2:
I've planned to bring jaden for Gymboree today since weeks ago. Confirm the class is on. I love bringing Jaden for Gymboree classes, cos u can juz see how much he enjoys. Within seconds, u can see the smile on his face and hear his laughter. Im considering signing up a package so he can attend the class on a weekly basis.

Only less than 5 mins into the class and we're so happy!

Day 3=Today:
Okay. I have to continue packing the room so mummy brought him home again cos its gonna be very dusty and its impossible for me to do any packing if he is aroud. Packed another 10%. Hb was quite impressed with my packing. Wahaha! Not bringing Jadenhome tonight cos i want to sleep. He's been fussing every nite, on a hourly basis. Suspect he's teething. So my dad say,s he'll bring him home so i can sleep. (Of cos la, cos its my mummy doing the job at nite. Hah!) I love my parents!!!
